Chanel is the only line that made my heart skip a beat. The Kardashian’s (ugh) did a similar runway for ANTM, I wonder where the original carousel idea originated? I love all of the silk and chiffon and femininity of Chanel’s line, hands down my favorite. Moving in to a new apartment for the semester and I plan on doing a similar palette, Cream blush and silver. I love the way they go together!
Grat post Shayne. I loved the beautiful artsy fashions. YSL was my fav, because of the fashion forward mix of slacks, suits and dresses, not to mention fabu shoes. Chloe was my second fav because of the casual chic and lovely mix of colors and bohemian styles. The MIU MIU fashions were my least favorite because there was not enough originality in the designs. They were too similar to each other, and too young for more mature ladies. Too many short dresses too, which I am sure the guys won’t mind. I loved Christian Dior, but there was way too much formal wear and not enough design diversity. The two pants designs were great. I really didn’t like the Louis Vuitton show at all. The carousel didn’t work for me and I think it hurt the overall presentations of the designs. I didn’t like the Lady GaGa-esque “no pants” looks and the dresses at the end made women look to fat with their poofiness. The colors were nice though. Thanks for the posting. The beauty was uplifting. Good work.
I voted for Chloe as my favorite and it seems to be the least! I’d describe my style icons as Katherine Hepburn or Diane Keaton which is why YSL seems like it would have been my automatic favorite but something drew me to the simplicity of the Chloe show. I LOVE the mix of a beige with neon yellow or another bright color. I adore the minimalist look and I think this spring, neutrals with color blocking are going to be everywhere and there seemed to be a lot of that in the Chloe show. Especially the dress around 4:45. I love the nude belts!
I did feel like some of the Miu Miu stuff was a little redundant with all the capes but I do love their use of vintage patterns. Hope you’re having a blast at Sundance!

All I have to say is MIU MIU really disappointed me. Actually, it made me hate them & their designs! YUCK!!!
