My Diet Plan Everyone Keeps Asking Me About

by admin

I schedule 5 meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner with 2 snacks mid-morning and mid-afternoon. No sugar, no bread, no pasta, no white rice, no cereal (except Ezekiel cereal), no soft drinks, no overly sugar based juices.  I keep the same schedule but try and change up the foods daily.  I try and eat every 3 to 4 hours and if I’m in a rush and don’t have time, I just make a shake.  I drink water about 30 minutes before each meal and stay VERY WELL hydrated through the day.  With this diet, the cellan and a daily 4 mile walk (stroll with Press sometimes), I think any woman can do this.

Click here for the Cellan that my husband hooked me on.

Breakfast
-2 tlbs. Of Ezekiel Cereal
-2 tlbs. Of Organic Oatmeal
-Soy milk
-Blueberries, Raspberries or Honey
Snack 1
-Apple, Trail Mix, Orange, or a Banana
Lunch
-Chicken Breast, Fish, or Turkey
-Brown Rice(1/4 of a cup)
-Lots of Greens with Spinach.
-Fruit Juice
Snack 2
-Unsalted almonds(raw and rosted), sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds(raw and roasted), or dried Cranberries
Dinner
-Chicken Breast, Fish, Turkey (Which ever I did not have for lunch)
-Asparagus, spinach, Greens
-Cottage Cheese and fruit
- Glass of Wine
Supplements I take:
-Fish Oil, 1 with each meal.
-Cellan, 1 soon as I wake up, 1 mid-day and 1 later afternoon.
-Krill Oil, 1 with each snack
-Trans-Resveratrol, 1 with each meal.

Really healthy Shakes/Meal Replacements.
Shake 1 – no more than 2 daily
1)      8-12 oz of Bottled Water and/or Unsweetened Coconut Milk
2)      1/3 of a Banana or 4-8 Blueberries
3)      2/3-1 scoop of Total Body Greens (Berry or Chocolate Flavor – or alternate)
4)      1/2-2/3 scoop of Garden of Life RAW Protein Powder
5)      1/3 scoop of Olympian Lab Pea Protein Powder
6)      1/3 scoop of Nutiva Hemp Protein Powder
7)      1/2 scoop of Gold Standard Natural Whey Protein Powder (Vanilla)
8)      4-6 Ice Cubes
Shake 2 - no more than 1 daily
1)      8-12 oz of Bottled Water and/or Unsweetened Coconut Milk
2)      1/3 of a Banana or 4-8 Blueberries
3)      1 scoop of Total Body Greens (Berry or Chocolate Flavor – or alternate)
4)      1/2 scoop of Garden of Life RAW Protein Powder
5)      1/3 scoop of Olympian Lab Pea Protein Powder
6)      1/3 scoop of Nutiva Hemp Protein Powder
7)      1/3 scoop of Gold Standard Natural Whey Protein Powder (Vanilla)
8)      1/2-2/3 scoop of Gold Standard Casein Protein Powder (Vanilla)
9)      4-6 Ice Cubes

I know this sounds like hell, but it works for me and gets rapid results. Be dedicated LR Ladies.

Trans-resveratrol is found in skins, seeds and stems of red wine grapes. It’s proven to be a fantastic anti-inflammatory i.e. cancer fighter, protects your nervous system and can curb hunger. Yay!

She said she doesn’t eat WHITE rice or overly sugar based drinks. Sugar in fruit, is natural. The sugary drinks she is referring to are made with table sugar, which is so unnatural.

wow shayne this seems very easy, and coming from you who is doesn’t isn’t a dietician or Gillian Michaels, makes it seem more realistic of a plan to keep to. I would like it if you did more of these Shayne, You’re obviously a lady who is on top of her body inside and out I really would value continued advice/direction similar to this post.

I promise I am not trying to be a smart-ass, I just want to confirm…
When you say you do not eat sugar, rice, or drink fruit juice, is that outside of what’s found in the things included in your diet? Meaning, for example, no other goods containing sugar allowed, aside from what is outlined.

I might be misunderstanding something…. Just trying to clarify :)

Definitely going to try some of this stuff! I actually started incorporating spinach into my diet because you had posted a blog about leafy greens being good for you. Im not a huge fan of spinach so I put it in a smoothie I make and I cant even taste it! I put a banana (lack of potassium is said to cause brain fog), a handful of spinach, and handful of blueberries (antioxidants), a tablespoon of non fat organic greek yogurt, a little bit of skim milk for calcium, a peeled grapefruit for metabolism and a peeled orange for vitamin c. I also started taking fish oil after you had mentioned the health benefits, and I have definitely noticed an overall improvement in how I feel. Keep the tips coming! At 5’11 and 135 lbs, I’d like to get back down to 130. Will def be trying some of this stuff! You look amazing for just having a baby 7 weeks ago! :)

People, KNOW FOOD BETTER. There is a huge difference between brown rice and white rice. Also, she stays away from HIGH SUGAR fruit drinks. There are fruit drinks without a ton of sugar in them. Also, the sugar found in fruits naturally is incomparable to processed sugar that is added to foods to make them taste better. Your stupidity is humiliating.

To the ladies confused above, I think when Shayne says she doesn’t eat sugar she’s referring to processed sugar and the white rice thing means she’s staying away from simple carbs which are basically processed like sugar in the body – quick to digest, not much nutritional benefit and they make you tired and sluggish (just like white bread and potatoes).

Great diet plan as far as I’m concerned. Glad to hear Shayne’s not starving herself and is just super healthy!

I’m surprised this worked so well…I’m around Shayne’s height and this is way too many cals for me! But I have a terrible metabolism. I like to do steamed veggies…super filling with the fiber. I can’t do fruit unless I’m working out..ie I’ll have a banana for potassium when I know I’m going to run hard that day. Any guess on the cal count of the shakes Shayne?

    Ladies,

I think Shayne means no WHITE RICE, and no pop or sugary drinks. Fruits all have sugar, but that is necessary sugar, Shayne probably substitutes sugar in her coffee to sweetener. Losing weight is not rocket science, just watch your intake of unnecessary sugar and carbs.

I think its pretty obvious she meant no refined sugars, not the sugar found in fruits. She also said no white rice, its refined… brown is fine. You have to have some sort of grain in your diet or else you’ll develop kidney problems. Keep up the good work Shayne!

In response to the comments re: rice & sugar, Re-read it, she said no white rice. Brown rice is good for you, in a small portion. As for sugar, she means no added sugar or processed sugar. Naturally occurring sugar in fruit is not bad for you lol. Look up the paleo diet

It clearly states she doesn’t eat WHITE rice. She eats a small amount of brown rice. Anything heavy in starches is going to keep the weight on. And yes fruits have sugars but they aren’t BAD sugars. There are good and bad everything. She clearly has a balanced diet with exercise. I do not have the willpower to stick with such a restricted diet for long, but I applaud you Shane for being honest about the time, effort, money and dedication it takes to get into shape and maintain it. It’s refreshing to see someone be honest about it instead of saying Oh I just bounced back! Congrats!

You are ging to give your daughter some SERIOUS food/body issues if you eat like that & approach food in such a way in front of her. I think that taking such extreme measures for appearances’ sake is sending an unhealthy message.

    Hey Shanye~

I just started taking Cellan 3 days ago and already have lost 2 pounds so I want to keep taking them.. but I feel kind of weird after I take them. I’ve been taking one right when I wake up and then another in the early afternoon, but after I take each one I feel a little cloudy and sometimes I get flushed as if I’m over heating or something. Do you ever feel any wierd sensations while taking them? I see that they are natural and I’m wondering why I’m getting such a weird feeling on them. I have 4 kids so I want to be safe and healthy while taking any kind of pill.
