I just really looked up to her a lot, as fans tend to do. I haven’t really commented much, but I have been a huge fan of Shayne’s since her Bachelor days and even though she has made some questionable choices in that time I have been a supportive fan and have never overstepped the fan boundaries by giving her criticism. But this has pushed me to a point, I don’t understand. How is going to a club healthy for your baby? The loud music? The smoke in the air? The overall atmosphere cannot be conducive to a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Also, I am a full believer of practice what you preach, and Shayne is definitely violating that rule now. She calls us all to be classy, not trashy, and here she is wearing a dress that is way too short for a 6 month pregnant woman to be wearing on a bar. It’s inappropriate and embarrassing. I love her but I think that both her and Nik have to reach that point in their lives where they have the ‘ah ha’ moment and realize that money and fame is okay but your baby is number 1.
So I’m on a judgmental high horse because I think that a mom to be should be at home ECSTATIC about being a mom and being happy being six months pregnant than rather posting on a blog with a headline that says ’6 months won’t keep me down’. How innapropriate is that? So in other words, being pregnant will NOT inconvenience your life, right shayne? No one said she was drinking or smoking but give me ONE good reason to be at the club? It’s not that there’s alcohol sold there or even cigarettes around. I could understand a trip to Napa where she refrains from drinking, or maybe in some day lounge to accompany Nik. Idk. To me, a Nightclub portrays an image. Like it or not, Nik will tell you himself on The Dirty, that if you don’t like how it looks, not to do it. Pictures speak, very loud, in his own opinion. And this picture of a pregnant woman on a bar, in a nightclub, with the caption, “6 months pregnant won’t hold me down” is not the kind of photo I would like of MYSELF. That is not to say being a mother can’t be fun, or that I expect Shayne to trap herself inside for 9months. I’m not that extreme. I just think this is inappropriate, period. A nightclub is not the only venue where fun is found. And at the end of the day, is this the kind of photo you want of yourself on TMZ? Look at Casey Anthony. Like it or not, people look down on that type of behavior (The partying). Shayne said so HERSELF that ‘Casey did not change for her little girl’. Well, I also believe motherhood constitutes change, and this is not it.
Maybe the pregnancy was unplanned, but she is married and I do not judge her for that. I would just personally, be HORRIFIED if this picture EVER existed on me. This is straight up DIRTY material. I don’t know how I feel about this one. I know when I was pregnant with my first daughter I went out one time, but I didn’t dance on a stage or whatever, I went for about 30 minutes and left. There are a lot better things to do while being pregnant! It is a time you explore yourself and your body. A lot of posters put up good points, I have to agree that this is a little trashy. I am the FIRST person to hate on people for inappropriate things – believe me, I’m super-judgmental And there are many things I disagree with Shayne about. But I actually think this is totally, totally fine. I actually think it’s very “modern” AND classy to be able to go to a club while pregnant (IF you behave). It shows you are in control of yourself, what you drink, and how you behave, even in the midst of a very social environment. If her husband owned a classy restaurant AKA Villa Blanco (which serves wine) and Shayne popped in for a night, no one would care. Shayne is enjoying time with her husband at HIS PAYING JOB, before the baby is born. No big deal. Few bars allow smoking anymore, and the VIP’s are separate from the rest. She’s not drinking, hubby probably isn’t drinking much, and they probably left early. Not seeing the issue here.
The idea that pregnant women should stay home and rest for the entire nine months is an outdated, misogynistic mentality that should have been left in the 50′s.

In an effort to clear my head of the negative energy it has been collecting over the last few months I have promised myself to stop visiting this site and the dirty.
Look at the comments and it is nothing but catty girls ripping each other apart! And nobody even knows each other…. not to mention since I started reading the dirty I have begun to hate going out, getting dressed and just feeling generally horrible about myself… I am hoping that cutting out these negative things will make a difference in my life…

I looked pretty tiny at 6 months.:) I never really got a huge belly. I still wore a lot of my normal clothes throughout my pregnancy & even up to the very end. Everyone carries babies differently.
I agree with Jenessa & Crystal for the most part. I’ve been pregnant & NEVER went to a club or bar. Because to me it just felt weird. The worst thing I did was go to a concert in Vegas. But that was only because we got the tickets before I got pregnant. But we had amazing VIP seats (P. Diddy sat on row in front of us!) & there was a very small crowd in the area we were in so I felt safe. And loud music while you’re pregnant doesn’t harm the baby (although I felt my son jumping around inside me to the music, so crazy, LOL) because the baby is surrounded by liquid so think about how hard it is for you to hear something while you’re under water. The baby won’t suffer any long term affects.
But as I said before I just think it’s weird to go to a bar or club while pregnant. Mainly because of what it portrays. I saw a VERY pregnant Mel B. on TMZ leaving a club VERY late at night. You can’t tell me you think that image is OK & perfectly normal. Because I don’t.
I don’t think a pregnant woman has to stop her life completely when she is pregnant, at all. I didn’t. But I do think you have to be more careful with yourself.

Shayne’s tweets came at 3:45 pm in the afternoon about being there, not 3:45 am. Let’s not assume things and know she is probably taking care of herself during this important time in her life.
Crystal and Janessa, you are both ridiculous. I am born & raised in Miami and have been to Mansion plenty of times so I consider myself pretty familiar with the nightclub itself. The stage at Mansion is probably one of the safest spots in the club period (which I have been on there myself), you are away from the crowd and from the junk on the dancefloor. Also, Steve Aoki was performing so this was more of a concert than anything else. If you mean to tell me that pregnant women who go to concerts as well are bad mothers is just plain ridiculous. Loud noises can only harm an unborn child unless it goes on for quite a few hours, for example 8 or so. I seriously doubt Shayne was at the club for most of the night, maybe even a couple hours. FYI there is drinking and smoking everywhere, at the beach, outside of a restaurant, etc. Mansion is so big inside that it would take an impossible amount of cigs to really fog up the joint. We aren’t talking about a dive bar. So what if she wanted to support her hubby for a night at a concert event, I do not see anything wrong with it. It’s not like she was club hopping the whole night. Also, I doubt Shayne didn’t consult her doctor before going to Mansion.
Lastly, I have followed the dirty.com since 2008 and I can say that any picture of a pregnant woman at the club are usually dancing innapropriately right next to the bar or holding a drink in their hand. The comparison isn’t even there, get over it.

I haven’t really commented much, but I have been a huge fan of Shayne’s since her Bachelor days and even though she has made some questionable choices in that time I have been a supportive fan and have never overstepped the fan boundaries by giving her criticism. But this has pushed me to a point, I don’t understand. How is going to a club healthy for your baby? The loud music? The smoke in the air? The overall atmosphere cannot be conducive to a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Also, I am a full believer of practice what you preach, and Shayne is definitely violating that rule now. She calls us all to be classy, not trashy, and here she is wearing a dress that is way too short for a 6 month pregnant woman to be wearing on a bar. It’s inappropriate and embarrassing. I love her but I think that both her and Nik have to reach that point in their lives where they have the ‘ah ha’ moment and realize that money and fame is okay but your baby is number 1.
So I’m on a judgmental high horse because I think that a mom to be should be at home ECSTATIC about being a mom and being happy being six months pregnant than rather posting on a blog with a headline that says ’6 months won’t keep me down’. How innapropriate is that? So in other words, being pregnant will NOT inconvenience your life, right shayne? No one said she was drinking or smoking but give me ONE good reason to be at the club? She wanted to dance? Buy Zumba and play it at home! She wanted to be out with her husband? Let him go off and get drunk at a club like people who go to clubs do. Bars and clubs are breeding grounds for SEX, DRUGS, ALCOHOL & FIGHTS. If you wouldnt take a newborn to a club, what difference does it make if it’s still in her belly? Bottom line, shayne is trying so hard to hold on to her old life while not letting her new role as a mother interfere. That’s the true reality. It’s sad. It’s tacky, it’s gross, it’s above all trashy. Who cares about the heels, stop comparing her to Rachel Zoe cus I am sure, Rachel was not AT THE CLUB on a holiday weekend, pregnant and dancing on stage. Call me what you want but a hater I am not. If Shayne wasn’t ready to put her babies WELL BEING in front of her own wants and needs then she shouldn’t have 1. Had unsafe sex that resulted in an UNPLANNED pregnancy. Or 2. When she found out she should of thought long and hard bout what it would mean giving up! I don’t wanna stop going out to clubs so I make sure I don’t have kids, and the day I do, best believe I won’t be out 6 months pregnant!
It’s not that there’s alcohol sold there or even cigarettes around. I could understand a trip to Napa where she refrains from drinking, or maybe in some day lounge to accompany Nik. Idk. To me, a Nightclub portrays an image. Like it or not, Nik will tell you himself on The Dirty, that if you don’t like how it looks, not to do it. Pictures speak, very loud, in his own opinion. And this picture of a pregnant woman on a bar, in a nightclub, with the caption, “6 months pregnant won’t hold me down” is not the kind of photo I would like of MYSELF. That is not to say being a mother can’t be fun, or that I expect Shayne to trap herself inside for 9months. I’m not that extreme. I just think this is inappropriate, period. A nightclub is not the only venue where fun is found. And at the end of the day, is this the kind of photo you want of yourself on TMZ? Look at Casey Anthony. Like it or not, people look down on that type of behavior (The partying). Shayne said so HERSELF that ‘Casey did not change for her little girl’. Well, I also believe motherhood constitutes change, and this is not it.

I don’t know how I feel about this one. I know when I was pregnant with my first daughter I went out one time, but I didn’t dance on a stage or whatever, I went for about 30 minutes and left. There are a lot better things to do while being pregnant! It is a time you explore yourself and your body. A lot of posters put up good points, I have to agree that this is a little trashy. I have to wonder if she will actually be taking care of the baby? Or will she be busy partying? The picture just brings Casey Anthony to my mind personally!

Poor thing probably doesn’t get to see her husband unless she’s at the club. It would be soooo hard to be pregnant and be married to someone as negative and shallow as Nik appears to be. His daily comments on womens every detail flaw and rather or not he feels they are good enough for him to sleep with- cannot be easy to deal with I don’t care who you are at six months pregnant! If her husband owned a classy restaurant AKA Villa Blanco (which serves wine) and Shayne popped in for a night, no one would care. Shayne is enjoying time with her husband at HIS PAYING JOB, before the baby is born. No big deal. Few bars allow smoking anymore, and the VIP’s are separate from the rest. She’s not drinking, hubby probably isn’t drinking much, and they probably left early. Not seeing the issue here.
The idea that pregnant women should stay home and rest for the entire nine months is an outdated, misogynistic mentality that should have been left in the 50′s.
If she’s not being harmed in any way and not drinking…I see no reason why she couldn’t be there to support her HUSBAND.

In an effort to clear my head of the negative energy it has been collecting over the last few months I have promised myself to stop visiting this site and the dirty.
Look at the comments and it is nothing but catty girls ripping each other apart! And nobody even knows each other…. not to mention since I started reading the dirty I have begun to hate going out, getting dressed and just feeling generally horrible about myself… I am hoping that cutting out these negative things will make a difference in my life…

I looked pretty tiny at 6 months.:) I never really got a huge belly. I still wore a lot of my normal clothes throughout my pregnancy & even up to the very end. Everyone carries babies differently.
I agree with Jenessa & Crystal for the most part. I’ve been pregnant & NEVER went to a club or bar. Because to me it just felt weird. The worst thing I did was go to a concert in Vegas. But that was only because we got the tickets before I got pregnant. But we had amazing VIP seats (P. Diddy sat on row in front of us!) & there was a very small crowd in the area we were in so I felt safe. And loud music while you’re pregnant doesn’t harm the baby (although I felt my son jumping around inside me to the music, so crazy, LOL) because the baby is surrounded by liquid so think about how hard it is for you to hear something while you’re under water. The baby won’t suffer any long term affects.
But as I said before I just think it’s weird to go to a bar or club while pregnant. Mainly because of what it portrays. I saw a VERY pregnant Mel B. on TMZ leaving a club VERY late at night. You can’t tell me you think that image is OK & perfectly normal. Because I don’t.
I don’t think a pregnant woman has to stop her life completely when she is pregnant, at all. I didn’t. But I do think you have to be more careful with yourself.

Crystal and Janessa, you are both ridiculous. I am born & raised in Miami and have been to Mansion plenty of times so I consider myself pretty familiar with the nightclub itself. The stage at Mansion is probably one of the safest spots in the club period (which I have been on there myself), you are away from the crowd and from the junk on the dancefloor. Also, Steve Aoki was performing so this was more of a concert than anything else. If you mean to tell me that pregnant women who go to concerts as well are bad mothers is just plain ridiculous. Loud noises can only harm an unborn child unless it goes on for quite a few hours, for example 8 or so. I seriously doubt Shayne was at the club for most of the night, maybe even a couple hours. FYI there is drinking and smoking everywhere, at the beach, outside of a restaurant, etc. Mansion is so big inside that it would take an impossible amount of cigs to really fog up the joint. We aren’t talking about a dive bar. So what if she wanted to support her hubby for a night at a concert event, I do not see anything wrong with it. It’s not like she was club hopping the whole night. Also, I doubt Shayne didn’t consult her doctor before going to Mansion.
Lastly, I have followed the dirty.com since 2008 and I can say that any picture of a pregnant woman at the club are usually dancing innapropriately right next to the bar or holding a drink in their hand. The comparison isn’t even there, get over it.
